Safety
Child safety standards
Tomorrow's Trip is a travel app for adults. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and these are the standards we hold ourselves to.
Who can use the app
You must be 18 or over to create an account and use Tomorrow's Trip. The app is not directed at children. If we learn that someone under 18 has an account, we close it.
What is never allowed
- Any sexual content involving a minor, including images, video, text, drawings or links to such material.
- Grooming, sexualised contact with a minor, or attempts to arrange to meet a minor for sexual purposes.
- Requesting, sharing, trading or advertising CSAM.
- Sexualising, exploiting or endangering children in any other way, including in photos, posts, comments, trip stories, journals or group chats.
Our community guidelines and terms prohibit this content, and breaking these rules leads to removal and a permanent ban.
How to report a concern
- In the app: open the “⋯” menu on any post, comment or profile and choose Report. You can also block the person from the same menu.
- On the website: use the “Report” link on any profile, trip, post, comment or review.
- By email: write to support@tomorrowstrip.com with a link to the content, if you can.
Reports reach our moderators. We review reports about child safety first, remove content that breaks these standards, and suspend or ban the accounts involved. You do not need an account to email us.
What we do when we find it
- Remove the content and restrict or ban the account.
- Keep the evidence that the law requires us to keep, and report the material and the account to the relevant authorities, including the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in), the police, and the NCMEC CyberTipline where required.
- Cooperate with law enforcement requests made under Indian law, including the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
How the app is built to reduce risk
- Every new trip starts private. People choose who can see a trip, and profiles can be made private.
- Location data is removed from every photo you upload.
- There are no public direct messages. Group chat is only for the people on a trip.
- Anyone can block another user, mute them, and report any post, comment or profile.
